SPEAKER GUIDELINES for Invited Speakers and Presenters in Oral Abstract Sessions

Before the congress

Presentation Submission

Please ensure that the secretariat has received your presentation deck at least five (5) hours prior to your scheduled session.

You may submit your presentation at the Speakers’ Room, details for which are below:

Wednesday, 28 May: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Friday, 30 May: 7:00 AM – 5:00
Saturday, 31 May: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Laptops with internet access

Final edits to your presentation can be made here

Note: Use of personal laptops during presentations is not permitted.

Presentation Guidelines

Duration

Please adhere strictly to your allocated presentation time to maintain the session schedule.
Abstract (Concurrent and Plenary) Oral Presentation is 8 minutes + minutes for Q&A.
Rising Star Presentation is 10 minutes + 5 minutes Q&A

Language

The official language of the congress is English. No interpretation services will be available.

Format

Use Microsoft PowerPoint (16:9 ratio)

Below you can find the link to the PowerPoint template that you may use.
Using this template is not mandatory; however, including the title, the presenter’s name, and the Disclosure of Conflict of Interest is required.

Pre-Session Instructions

Visit the Speakers’ Room at least one day before your session

Save your presentation on a USB drive or access it via your cloud account

Arrive at your session room 15 minutes early to meet the session chair and receive final instructions

During your Presentation

A session room manager and AV technicians will be present to assist you. Equipment available in each session room includes:

Projector & screen

Conference laptop

Wireless clicker and laser pointer

Podium and lapel microphones

Offstage comfort monitor

Time-keeping system

In some cases, room managers may display timecards to signal remaining minutes.
