The Vanguard Committee of the International Liver Transplant Society (ILTS) is a dynamic group of early-career professionals with multidisciplinary expertise in liver transplantation. Committed to fostering engagement and collaboration, the committee supports young professionals through active participation, research recognition, and networking opportunities.
Since 2021, the Vanguard Committee has offered a grant to support clinical, basic science, or outcomes research projects led by young physician-scientists, advancing the mission of ILTS.

The International Liver Transplant Society (ILTS) is proud to announce a new series of research funding grants designed to support groundbreaking research in liver transplantation. These grants aim to foster innovation and promote excellence in scientific studies that have the potential to improve clinical outcomes, surgical techniques, donor organ management, immunosuppression strategies, and long-term patient care in liver transplantation.
ILTS is dedicated to supporting researchers and clinicians worldwide by providing the resources needed to explore novel approaches to the most pressing challenges in liver transplantation. A total of 3 grants for US$10,000 will be given in this first funding cycle.
