Under the theme “Advancing the Future of Liver Transplantation Through Innovation and Precision,” this year’s Congress charts a bold course forward — grounded in science, driven by innovation, and shaped by the collective ambition of our global community. ILTS 2027 is where breakthrough science converges with real-world clinical impact — a global gathering of the transplant community united by a single purpose: transforming patient outcomes through discovery, collaboration, and excellence.
The scientific program will span the full spectrum of liver transplantation, shining a spotlight on the innovations defining the field’s future: machine perfusion, transplant oncology, robotic transplantation, pediatric transplantation, MASLD and the emerging role of artificial intelligence in clinical practice. Landmark complex cases will challenge and inspire, while immersive, hands-on workshops in machine perfusion and anaesthesia will equip participants to translate new knowledge directly into practice.
A comprehensive postgraduate course will precede the Congress, offering essential, foundational training for the next generation of transplant professionals — ensuring the field’s future is in the best possible hands. The Pre-meeting symposium will also provide a sneak peak into the scientific offerings at the main congress.
